I'm a fully qualified psychotherapist, working in private practice in Stafford town centre and Stoke on Trent. I have experience of working with individuals on both a short and long term basis and I specialise in working with issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, grief and bereavement, low self- esteem, coping skills, life transitions, codependency, emotional disturbance and problems that generally create a dissatisfaction with life.
I work using an integrative approach to meet the individual needs of each client and I aim to provide each client with the opportunity to learn more about themselves, and to explore new ways of being. I am especially interested in how unresolved issues from our past can impact how we live in the present.
The essence of my work is to facilitate self -growth and compassion by helping you identify the core challenges and setbacks that are preventing you from being your 'true' self and living a 'full' life. As a result I seek to work collaboratively with each client to explore their issues on a deeper level, working to achieve balance, peace and harmony.
As such, I offer a confidential and safe space for you to explore the things that concern you and I take great pride in the progress and success of my clients, and look forward to helping you.
I work in accordance with the National Counselling Society, whose Code of Ethics I abide by and I am in regular supervision to meet their requirements. I am also fully insured.
If you would like more information, I would be happy to speak with you
either on the telephone or respond to any queries via email.

FIND BALANCE AND INNER STRENGTH
Start your journey into happiness and freedom
Finding a therapist that is right for you, might like a feel daunting prospect, especially at a time when you may be feeling vulnerable or uncertain, perhaps at a crossroads in your life.
This is not unusual, whether this is the first time you have sought therapy or have taken therapy in the past.
Sometimes we need help to overcome conflicts and blocks that are present in our life that are confusing or difficult.
I understand that you are, as with all people that walk this earth, unique and complex with many facets and aspects that make you who you are. As such, the complexity of being human impacts how we experience ourself, and how we have had to adapt in the face life's struggles.
WALK AND TALK
Why not try something different?
I'm a keen advocate of the great outdoors and thoroughly believe that nature promotes a healthy mind.
Having a therapy session outdoors embraces nature and enhances the therapeutic process. If you are someone who likes to be outdoors, then why not combine your therapy session with a natural environment.
Why not join me for a session, where we walk and talk.
Sessions based from:
